One of Andrew Sullivan's readers notices that "The Democratic nominee (Obama) will give his acceptance speech on August 28, 2008 ... 45 years to the day of MLK's 'I Have a Dream' speech. You've got to wonder whether that was a planned move on the part of some quietly brilliant DNC staffer or sheer coincidence. In either case, it's going to be powertful. In other Andrew Sullivan linking, I'm not sure a staffer for The American Spectator who criticizes Hillary Clinton for being madly ambitious and blindly power-hungry has actually committed such an act of bravery that he deserves an award for writers who "risk something for the sake of saying what they believe." I feel like we might be forgetting our history here.
