Sigh. This is why I'm not a real journalist. I notice that Evite response quips are getting stressful and write a throwaway post for a blog none of you pay for. Three months later, Stephanie Rosenbloom parlays the same thing into a New York Times byline. On the other hand, she'll be forever associated with the term "R.S.V.Peeved" and I won't, so maybe it all works out in the end. Meanwhile, Carolyn Fitzpatrick, who Rosenbloom quotes in the article, appears to have just informed the whole world she hates her in-laws. Seems like a poor strategy in advance of the holidays.
