Nick Kristof is the best op-ed columnist in the country. Not because he's the most glittering prose stylist, or the most incisive political analyst, but because he takes the moral responsibility of his newspaper real estate more seriously than any other writer going today. Genocide and sex trafficking and child slavery and famine and infant mortality are not fun topics to research, much less report on. But Kristof does. And if you're a student, he's offering the opportunity to go with him.
