FAIR AND BALANCED? EVERY NOW AND THEN. Earlier this evening, Fox News Channel's Carl Cameron held up a flyer he said had reportedly been distributed in an African-American area in Maryland that railed against the Democratic senatorial candidate, Ben Cardin, who is fighting for the seat of retiring Sen. Paul Sarbanes against African American Republican Michael Steele. I couldn't catch the copy on the flyer word for word as Cameron waved it in front of the camera, but the headline was, "Ben Cardin Exposed!" It went on to accuse Cardin of being against Jesus and black people. Cameron said that when he called the number printed on the flyer, he got a recorded message that simply told the caller to vote for Michael Steele. Steel's campaign told Cameron that they had nothing to do with the flyer.
