First we had The OC, then Laguna Beach, which I appreciated for finally giving mentally handicapped children a televised opportunity to prove how functional they were. Now we're getting The Real Housewives of Orange County? How many TV shows does my hometown really merit? And, having grown up there, is a series where mothers pick kids up from school, take them to activities, and try to keep the house together really going to prove such a revelation?
