Top 3rd: I feel like I've seen time called late enough that the pitcher threw the ball anyway a half-dozen times this postseason. This has really got to stop; the umpire isn't required to grant time, and this is both lengthening the game and wasting good pitches.
During various commercial breaks: The MLB really should have looked for a better pitch man. I have been told Dane Cook appeals to the 18-35 year old dudes that they're trying to reach, but he can't do serious well enough to project intensity. Especially with that haircut.
