You gotta give it to him: Rudy Giuliani is very effective. He's got mockery down. Huckabee has too light a touch, and too many peculiar stories about veterans stealing desks from small children. Mitt Romney is too laughable a figure. But they put Giuliani right before Palin, giving him the maximum possible audience. And he's a brutal attack dog. This is why I always figured Giuliani to be the most dangerous of the Republican nominees: All he knows is the attack, and in politics, attacks are effective.
