This year, I'm taking my own advice about vacation time and leaving the country, sans computer, for a solid week. It's extremely exciting. But because I hardly draw a breath without thinking of you, my beloved readers, I've lined up a slew of great guestbloggers who'll be contributing while I'm gone. • Ryan Avent, who writes for The Economist and whose urban policy work at The Bellows is what got me interested in the subject, ; • Nick Beaudrot, of Cogitamus, who was one of my weekend bloggers for years and is one of the few pundits I know who actually understands numbers; • Shannon Brownlee, author of Overtreated (which the Washington Post named "best economics book of 2007"), will be writing on health policy; • Harold Pollack, faculty chair of the Center for Health Administration studies and an expert on population health, will be writing about public health with a hell of a lot more depth and expertise than I can possibly match; • Alyssa Rosenberg, who writes for Government Executive magazine and knows way more about comics and Star Wars than you do; • This guy; • Young Dylan Matthews, who's blown everyone away as a Prospect intern but is better known in the blogosphere as the Minipundit; See ya in a week!
