I've never understood why think tanks make folks pay for their policy books. Presumably, the idea is to influence the public debate, not make $6000 as 375 people pay $15.95 each to read 300 pages of bullet points and endnotes. I bring this up because I'm spending the morning at CAP's launch event for their important new health care book The Health Care Delivery System: A Blueprint for Reform, and I just noticed that you can download the whole book online! So good on ya, CAP. And I'd suggest that if folks want to see CAP continue to do this and other think tanks follow their lead, they should prove the wisdom of the strategy by downloading the book and blogging about it. Reward good behavior!
