Here's Barack Obama at this week's AFL-CIO debate, explaining why he took so long to come out against the Iraq War supplemental, and making me wonder if he's really that naive:

To continue the title lyrics, is someone fucking joking? Did he really think we could get enough Republican votes to end the war through some kind of bipartisan agreement? If so, he had no idea what the legislative state of play was until terribly late. And more importantly, he doesn't understand the contemporary Republican Party.
