Peter Suderman and Megan McArdle spent last night camped out in front of the Apple store hoping to purchase a new iPhone. Megan's got pictures. For my part, I want the phone, but it turns out my Verizon contract runs through to September 22nd. So rather than getting the gadget immediately, I've decided to become a loud and committed advocate of the idea that you should never buy the first run of a complicated new device and should instead wait till the bugs to be fixed and the manufacturing kinks are worked out. Which should happen sometime in late-September. Frankly, I pity Megan and Peter. Poor, poor Megan and Peter.
