IRAN TV. In a bit of Iran news today, the country is reopening their nuclear sites to inspectors, largely to head off harsher sanctions in the next few weeks. Meanwhile, they've also launched a satellite news channel aimed at the West to push the Iranian point-of-view. Early reports say that the problem with the station isn't bias so much as bad programming, but the interstitial innovation of "colorful animations of battle scenes, using famous medieval Persian miniatures from various Tehran museums, that fill the time between segments" sound pretty cool. --Ezra Klein
