On the one hand, I like John McCain's humane position on immigration reform, and so I'm glad that he's just lying to restrictionists, and hasn't actually flipped towards a fearful and xenophobic posture. On the other hand, he's pandering to them, and so it's hard for me to feel terribly bad that a representative from the Illinois Minutemen snuck into his secret session with Hispanic leaders and is reporting on what she saw.
