Kash Monsori, formerly of Angry Bear, has gone solo. And you should follow. Kash offers a clear, informed, progressive alternative to the odd blogospheric overrepresentation of fine libertarian economists from George Mason university, and his work on health care, immigration, taxes, and just about everything else has been invaluable.
And speaking of the overrepresentation of libertarian econ bloggers, I was interested to see this study (pdf) showing that precious few economists are actually free marketeers. Indeed, only a couple of percent qualify. I'd quibble with the study's methodology (not being against "occupational safety regulations" in general may not mean you take a particularly liberal view of specific ones that come up), but it's interesting to see the stereotype of economists as conservative debunked. I think I particularly bought into it, as so many of those I read were, as previously mentioned, libertarians from George Mason University.
