Do they think that the terrorists have all of a sudden become the good guys, and changed their minds? No! The terrorists still seek to destroy America and her allies and all that it is that is that we stand for: Freedom, tolerance, equality."
- The GOP is staying classy until the bitter end. John Boehner calls Barack Obama a "chicken shit" while stumping for McCain in Ohio, and the Republican Jewish Coalition sends out a mailer in Pennsylvania that asks, "Concerned about Barack Obama? You should be. History has shown that a naive and weak foreign policy has resulted in tragic outcomes for the Jewish people." In the interest of balance, however, this gay-bashing flyer accusing Mitch McConnell of not being "straight" with Kentucky is pretty disgusting.

- Harry Reid guarantees that should Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens be re-elected, his tenure in the 111th Congress will be short indeed: "The reality is that a convicted felon is not going to be able to serve in the United States Senate. And as precedent shows us, Senator Stevens will face an ethics committee investigation and expulsion, regardless of his appeals process."
