- Ron Brownstein has a great essay in the National Journal on how Clinton and Obama are running what he calls the first 21st century campaign, though I don’t think the essay gives the Dean campaign nearly enough credit for pioneering a lot of these tactics (even if it didn’t quite get them all to work together).
