- Much-admired Obama adviser Samantha Power resigned today after accidentally calling Clinton a "monster." See Hilzoy's great take here. Hopefully this won't prevent Power from taking part in a future Democratic administration. Marc Ambinder has more on the remarkable level of antipathy staffers on both sides have for their candidate's opponent.
- There's been a bit of a kerfluffle online about an ad from Clinton that allegedly included video of Obama with his skin darkened. A new study of the video from factcheck.org that shows that the video's color was desaturated, but doesn't seem to have noticeably darkened his skin (other images within the ad had similar treatments). Furthermore, it is standard attack ad practice to ramp up the contrast and make everything look as scary as possible.
- Slate's Christopher Beam asks why Clinton keeps mentioning the possibility of a "dream team" Obama-Clinton or Clinton-Obama ticket and argues that she might just want to be VP. Even if you think she's not the best choice for him, it's got to be worth avoiding many more months of nasty campaigning.

- McCain flips out when asked about discussions in 2004 about him joining the Kerry campaign.
