On April 19, 2011, it was foretold that Skynet would become self-aware in the blockbuster movie Terminator. Two days later, Judgment Day would mark the annihilation much of the human population. While the machines have yet to take over, they're getting closer to being able to track our every move.
James Cameron, director of the first two films, remarked that "now instead of nuclear war and the machines taking over, we need to worry about global climate change. And the machines taking over. With everybody going through their lives bent over their Blackberries all day long, you could even argue the machines have already won."
