Former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer at the Center for American Progress. Despite a largely successful attempt to rehabilitate his public image after being caught in a prostitution sting -- including getting his own talk show on CNN -- Spitzer was shown the door by the Harvard Club of New York City, which declined his membership request.
