The California Endowment -- who helped fund The American Prospect's recent special report on health care -- has me out in Los Angeles today for a panel asking whether "any of the candidates' solutions actually fix our [health] system?" (Short answer: Not really, but Obama is a step in the right direction.) There's a reception at 5:30, and the panel, which also features Neal Halfon, Matthew Miller, and Fabian Nunez (who, until recently, was Speaker of the California Assembly), begins at 7. The information is all here. Folks should come out! Those who can't, but really wish they could get my thoughts on the topic, should read my article on the subject.
