I noted yesterday that in an otherwise disappointing CNN poll a majority of Americans thought that gays and lesbians should have a constitutional right to marriage. I didn't realize it was the first poll to show this. Nate Silver puts it in context with this chart:
It's really just a matter of time at this point.
