I wasn't able to watch Jeremiah Wright on Bill Moyers' show last night, but Daniel Schultz did, and he has an interesting post on the interview. One thing that's been lost in the arguments over Obama's connection to Wright's most radical statements is his connection to Wright's more basic theological approach, which is fascinating and complex and edgy in its own right. In sieving Obama's faith through a single video clip of Wright, the media has passed up the opportunity to understand his faith through the broader philosophy of Wright.
