I'll have much more to say on it as I wind down from my trip, but for now, I'm particularly interested to hear all of your thoughts, as this sort of piece shouldn't just be turned over by bloggers, but by all of you who both experience and comprise the vast army known as the Blogosphere.
Also, since so much of Jon's argument has to do with the Left's deteriorating tolerance for self-criticism, it's worth linking to Julian Sanchez's devastating dismemberment of Tax Freedom Day, a viciously misleading bit of propaganda whose failings would be ignored by a less honest libertarian.
