This graph from This graph from Think Progress shows the tremendous partisan gap in news channel appearances during the debate over the stimulus bill. In addition to giving lie to the notion that MSNBC is somehow a liberal news channel, Republicans outhustled Democrats across the board. I realize a certain number of Democratic members are busy writing the bill, but this borders on inexcusable. In the dark days of 2005 the Senate organized a working group to ensure Democrats at least showed their faces on the teevee. Perhaps in the interest of balance someone ought to get that particular band back together?
