But you do sort of wonder what his Social Psychology Recovery Package would look like. Tax cuts? Propaganda posters? Weber grills for the men and sensible pairs of pumps for the women? Because though he may be right that the Obama administration stimulus and a bank plan might fail to lift consumer spirits, I'll take those odds over doing nothing, which can, by the same token, never succeed.
