A reader e-mails to note that typing in www.ObamaBayh08.com redirects you to the DNC homepage. The same does not happen for www.ObamaSebelius08.com, www.ObamaNunn08.com, www.ObamaKaine08.com, www.ObamaClinton08.com, or any other formulation I could plug in. Now, this might be entirely innocent, a simple rearguard action to cut down on domain squatting, and Bayh was the only one the DNC could get their hands on. Additionally, I sort of doubt the Obama campaign has telegraphed this decision to webmasters at the DNC. But it's suggestive nonetheless. Update: So it looks like this is just some guy who bought the domain name and did his own redirect, not the DNC buying the domain name. Nevermind!
