So far as I can tell, the major initiative of George W. Bush's second term has been an effort to ease the stresses of holiday travel by opening military air space to commercial jets. And yet here I sit, in Little Rock, Arkansas, my 6:15am flight delayed an hour, meaning I miss my flight in Chicago and now have, if my math is correct, sixty bazillion hours of layover. This is not what the Founding Fathers intended.
Also, I hate American Airlines.
Also, I appreciate the free wireless provided by Little Rock airport. It's unclear to me, however, why said free wireless wasn't paired with power outlets at the gates. And I don't mean that as in "wah, there are only six and they're all taken," I mean there aren't any power outlets at the gates. It's peculiar.
