Via Political Wire, we see that in Newsweek's latest poll (and remember, it was a November Newsweek poll that Mark Penn cited in his spin polling memo), "Medium John" Edwards has the largest lead against McCain, and is the only one of the top three Democrats who defeats Giuliani.
Meanwhile, in other HRC spin news, this press release reads for an August-release action film, packed with quotes from critics cherry-picked for repackaging. Clearly her staff is reading a different set of blogs than I've been reading; Hillary seems to be getting some highly positive reviews, but a large number of skeptical posts questioning her electable viability and political overcautiousness. I'm not on the "Hillary is unelectable" wagon, and on policy she's not my favorite but perfectly reasonable, but there's no need to treat the press corps and us political mavens like idiots. Please.
