A look back. It's actually a pretty interesting history. Starting a web magazine in 1996 wasn't nearly as intuitive a venture as it is in 2006, and noting that such fine minds tried to make the thing a once-a-week download, or pay-per-view, or numbered, is a rather interesting look back into a period when folks were still struggling to create and conform to the nonexistent conventions of this here interweb.
