Saw them at the Black Cat this weekend: very good band, but no representation on Emusic, which makes my listening to them considerably less likely. Tear. That said, they do have a very funny FAQ, including this gem:
Middle Distance Runner is what you would be left with if you took every nu-metal, frat-rock, and emo band, put them into a poorly insulated spaceship, and then drove it into the sun. On a related note, Earth would be left with a cleaner atmosphere, our population a higher median IQ, and the secrets of the Human brain would be revealed. Cancer would be cured. Ice cream would never melt unless you wanted it to.
