In a Townhall.com piece titled, "The abortion empire strikes back," Michelle Malkin rails against N.Y. state attorney general Eliot Spitzer's investigation of "crisis pregnancy centers" -- right-wing, often religiously funded organizations that attempt to persuade (read: frighten) pregnant women to carry their fetuses to term. Central to Malkin's thesis is the unholy alliance of government and what she calls "the abortion monopoly." Here's a taste of Malkin's paranoia:
In New York and elsewhere, the abortion lobby will continue to drag crisis pregnancy centers through costly court proceedings. Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood and the government-backed abortion empire continue their business of massive human disposal [italics mine] fraudulently marketed as a fully informed "choice."
