Edwards gives a variant on his stump speech including his standard (very moving) examples. He wraps in a positive story, spinning the election as a mandate for change. It goes on a bit too long, but it's impassioned and powerful. Clinton looks quite cheery... "good night for democrats." And hey look, it's Madeleine Albright! She says the top two things to keep in mind for candidates are who can win and who would be the best president. Also claims she's always been planning on a national campaign. One mention of experience. "I am so ready for this campaign and I am so ready to lead!" Talks about a chapter in It Takes a Village called "every child needs a champion" and says America needs a champion. Overall, an assured confident performance. Dodd is dropping out after placing what Wolf Blitzer called "a distant distant... a distant distant... place." I love live TV. Seriously though, Dodd has been a real positive force in this campaign and I'm sorry to see him go. --Sam Boyd
