The camera just panned to Jesse Jackson, who's weeping quietly in the crowd. Whatever Jackson's faults, he's walked a hard road, and taken tremendous risks. Obama and him are not necessarily of the same tradition, but they have both been part of the same struggle. He deserves a thought tonight.
