The New York Times Magazine this weekend is a special food issue featuring articles from Mark Bittman, Michael Pollen, and others. More on those later today. For now, some trivia about the striking cover, by way of Michael Ruhlman: "This great image, one of three the editors are using, is by German photographer Martin Klimas, who fires projectiles through the food and manages to capture the action." I was able to find Klimas's homepage, but not any more pictures of corn cobs getting shot up. On the other hand, the page is in German, and my German skills are sadly undeveloped, so you folks may have more luck.
