TALK AMERICAN! As some may have heard, illustrious Bossman Emeritus Mike Tomasky is starting work as editor of the Guardian's new website, Guardian America. We're all, of course, excited and happy for Mike -- the Guardian's great and Comment is Free in particular is one of the few great examples of a newspaper offering an innovative and successful new-media adaptation. All that said, a line from the press release announcement -- "I'm honoured to be given the opportunity to play a role in it" -- raises an important question: Will Guardian America use the nefarious British spelling, or trusty American? These colors don't run, Mike.
