This began, actually, as a blog post. I was digging through the latest cross-country survey from the Commonwealth Fund, and summarizing it for the site. Around 800 words, I realized this would be too long for the blog. Around 1,500, I realized it should be a web article, if for no other reason than the data was really, really important.
