SHERMAN AVE., 2800 block, 12:53 a.m. March 5. A masked gunman demanded cash from a male sitting in a car. The male slid his wallet under the seat and said, "If you want the money, you're going to have to come in and get it." The gunman told the male to get out, then got into the car and took the wallet and keys. He fled on foot.
Meanwhile, these two are just petty:
ALTAMONT PL., 2300 block, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 7. Candy was stolen from a residence entered through a rear door.
SUMNER RD., 1200 block, 11:15 p.m. March 5 to 10 a.m. March 6. Hair oil was stolen from a residence.
