I'm not a huge fan of the competition, but guessing who they'll choose is a fun enough parlor game. Smart money appears to be on Ahmadinejad, but I'm going with Nancy Pelosi. Time doesn't like to elevate "evil" fur'ners, and they adore domestic politicians of unexpected genders. On the other hand, Ahmadinejad gave the magazine a cordial and exclusive interview awhile back, so there may be a thawing there. Anyway, two questions:
1) Who'll win?
2) Who should win?
I'm going with Pelosi for the first and Moqtada al-Sadr for the second.
