The Congressional Budget Office scoring of Max Baucus' health-care bill is out. Here's how Michelle Malkin reacted:
AP: Congress' budget experts say Senate cmte health bill costs $829 billion over 10 yrsTo which Salon's Mike Madden responded:
Yes, but they also say it's paid for and will reduce the deficit by $81 billion.Malkin didn't respond to Madden directly, but after months of bludgeoning Democrats with CBO numbers, no one could have predicted that Malkin would now find the numbers untrustworthy, although to be fair, Malkin has been arguing for some time that CBO was going too easy on the proposals. But expect a lot of Republicans turning on the CBO tomorrow.
The CBO claims the bill will cover 94 percent of the uninsured.
