We were halfway to the Black Cat last night when the cell phone rang a second time. Turned out the information was wrong: White House press secretary Tony Snow was not going to be playing jazz flute tonight. His band would be there, but he wouldn't be in attendance. A wail went up from the assembled politically-oriented hipsters. Tony Snow playing the jazz flute seemed like something everyone should see once. If not in person, than at least on YouTube:
