Posting my recipe for huevos rancheros, I mentioned that it's important to buy good corn tortillas. For instance: Mission tortillas are weak. Problem is, it's getting harder and harder. Tom Philpott tells you why. Though he doesn't mention the other side of the story, which is that really good tortillas are made with lard, and that's increasingly impossible to find. Anyway, I tend to think these food advice comment threads are useful for folks, so what's your brand?
