Let elite liberal Matthew Yglesias chuckle condescendingly at McCain surrogate Nancy Pfotenhauer's suggestion that much of Virginia is not, in fact, real. I associate myself with Marc Ambinder's more optimistic hypothesis that Pfotenhauer, along with Palin and Bachmann, are on the road to solving one of the central scientific mysteries of our age.
