Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala Jr. announced today that charges were being filed against seven ACORN workers for falsifying voter registration forms. Earlier this week, similar charges were filed against ACORN workers in Nevada.
Since I'm going to have to say this again anyway, ACORN turns in all suspicious looking registration forms as a matter of policy, and in some states they're required to by law. ACORN workers stealing time by filling out fraudulent forms is not evidence of a vast criminal conspiracy to tip election results; it's mostly evidence that ACORN doesn't do a very good job of vetting or controlling its employees.
