I'm about to head out to the Values Voter Summit, put on by the Family Research Council, that will be taking place here over the weekend. It's dubbed as the "largest gathering of values voters from across the nation," and thousands are expected to attend. As the Post reports this morning, these voters are only "lukewarm" toward the GOP field. The summit is their opportunity to warm them up. I expect plenty of hilarity to ensue as Giuliani, Thompson, and Romney contend for evangelical voters, and as the most visible, active portion of the "values voter" population sizes them up. Adele Stan, Sarah Posner, and I will be live-blogging the best of it over the next two days, and weighing in next week on other conference happenings. Stay tuned.
