This isn't a conversation I feel totally able to follow, but Rebecca Walker's HuffPo column on how Obama's campaign has exposed deep, generational rifts within feminism is interesting. It's been painful for many of the young feminists I know to choose between their identification with Clinton's historic run and their worries about her substantive flaws. The fact that some of the more institutional aspects and figures in the feminist movement came down on them like a ton of bricks for their choice didn't appear to help things, and actually, as it often does, seemed to harden opinions. Probably not a wise move.
