Chris Geidner


Chris Geidner is the award-winning senior political writer at D.C.'s Metro Weekly, where he covers LGBT issues in the White House, Congress and courts. He has written for The Atlantic Online,, Salon and other publications, as well as, beginning in 2003, at his blog, Law Dork. Prior to moving to D.C. in 2009, he worked as an attorney in private and public practice after serving as Editor-in-Chief of the Ohio State Law Journal while in law school. In 2011, he received the Excellence in News Writing Award from the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association for his coverage of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" repeal.
