Robert Mann is the author of three books on the U.S. Senate, including

The Walls of Jericho: Lyndon Johnson, Hubert Humphrey, Richard Russell, and the Struggle for Civil Rights.

He was state director for former U.S. Senator John Breaux of Louisiana.
