Last week's employment report showed that jobs were created at a slightly slower rate in July than in previous months. At July's rate, it would take almost 11 years until jobs numbers reach their pre-recession peak. Even if work is added at a rate closer to the recent average, the gap would still not be closed for almost nine years.
