Zacharia Kafuko is a Zambian molecular biochemist and vaccine equity advocate. A recipient of the Mandela Washington Fellowship of the Young African Leaders Initiative, he is based in Lusaka. He is director of 1Day Africa, which focuses on global health, vaccine equity, and future pandemic preparedness.
